Background: Tammy is the current owner and main scheduler for SteeleMan. At the age of 13, she began in the shipping department of her family's home medical company in Grand Blanc, Michigan and then went onto cardiology medical sales and eventually became the office manager over several employees. After 8 years, at the age of 21, she opened her own company called The Battery Store USA and began to sell wholesale bulk Energizer batteries worldwide to renowned hospitals, federal divisions, and famous singers. She also sang locally since the age of 11 and opened up for acts such as: Sha-Na-Na, Congressmen and women, and National Anthem performances for the Little League World Series and a United States President. Tammy finally moved to Nashville and during this time and worked as a demo singer for many top artists.
At the same time, she attended Volunteer State College and received her Associate of Science Degree in Paralegal Studies, where she graduated as a National Honors Society member, PTK and with accreditation from the American Bar Association.
She went on to attend Michigan State University only to find out that their daughter was on the way. She opened SteeleMan Inspections so that she and Ben could work together and be with the children as much as possible.
Wither her 3 children, hobbies include: boating on the Great Lakes, singing in church, and real estate investments.

Ben Stahl, was born in Michigan & grew up
with a desire for home building as well as the real estate
industry. Ben got his first taste of the home industry as a
child when his parents completely remodeled their home.
At the age of 13, he & his brother Steve enjoyed siding &
refinishing wood floors as well as doors, trim installation,
& re-painting & installing new siding. Ben got his formal
start in home construction as an apprentice building wood
basements at the age of 18. From there, he learned all
aspects of home building from site planning to basement
installation to wall-framing, to finishing the home & readying for
Experience: Ben’s nearly 20 years of home construction experience has allowed him to be involved in the building, remodeling, & overseeing of hundreds of homes. In 1999 (at the age of 21) Ben became a young & successful licensed realtor for local Century 21 located in Lapeer, Michigan. After several years, he became a Remax in agent in 2003 & obtained his State of Michigan builders license. Ben rapidly rose at the top of his field through his long hours, hard work, & his innate ability to listen to the needs of others while patiently meeting their needs. During this time, Ben specialized in selling homes to first-time home buyers. He was honored to receive the Citizen of the Year Award by the Lapeer Association of Relator’s in 2004. Ben also served as the Government Affairs Chair from 2002-2005. In addition to his real estate & building tasks, he served as the Tri-County Government Chair from 2005 as well as assessed local Michigan townships. He also built new, single-family homes, remodeled homes, & specialized in finished wood basements. Ben has personally owned numerous homes & buildings as well as rentals.
Education: His formal education consists of an Associate’s Degree in Management from Lansing Community College where he graduated with Honors. He also has studied Economics at Michigan State University.
Currently: Ben has been involved in many non-profit building projects including Africa (where he resided for two years) as well as New York. In 2009, Ben moved into the greater-Lansing area & became Sales Manager of The Battery Store USA; an international/wholesale battery company. After turning the company around, he decided to more recently return to his childhood passion for homes & re-launched his career. Ben is currently the founder & chief inspector of Steeleman Inspections, L.L.C. His unique construction experience benefits him as a State of Michigan Certified Expert Home Inspector. Ben is also an active member of NACHI (National Association of Certified Home Inspectors); which is the largest home inspection association in the world as well as GLAR (Greater Lansing Association of Realtors) affiliate member.
Family Life: When you meet Ben in person, his love for our community & his welcoming nature & sense of humor will be a pleasant surprise in the fast paced world we live in. Ben has 3 children (two, both 3 and under) and in his spare time he loves to spend time with them and watch football with his 15-year-old son as well as coach his youth football or basketball team. He also enjoys volunteering for the Red Cross, motorcycling, & travel. Ben lives with his wife Tammy & they've been together for over 15 years.
